electric hair brush

Those who have been reading for some time, know the kind of shocks I give to people and get from people. And today, I felt like yelling, "I have the power!" after leaving someone stunned and white faced.

Was jogging away happily on the treadmill, when the instructor comes up from nowhere and tries to flick back a strand of loose hair from my forehead. I know he has no business to do that. And he got the best lesson of his life, when he sprang back and I too felt a sharp bit of electricity pass through the forehead, and heard a 'bzzzz'.

He looked at me, eyes rounder and bigger than I have ever seen, mouth half open. I laughed evilly.

"Got a shock, huh?"

"Ya, man!! Something like current!"

"That was my hair! Here, try touching my arm?" I offered my left arm menacingly.

He didn't even move. Just stared at me.

"It's called static electricity." I offered with sympathy. I should know. "Happens sometimes. Chill."

"It's never happened with ME! Why then??"

"Just picks on certain people on certain days."

And then the rest of the session passed with me getting just instructions, never a push, lift or a helping hand.

this is a phenomenon which occurs in a very small percentage of people. but i must warn you, it makes you susceptible to electric shocks yourself, burns and even lightning strikes.

lol!

and anyone who is worrying why they don't have the power, try wearing wollens, and make sure your socks are synthetic. and that that your shoes are a little big for your feet. that way there is constant generation of power ;-). ask me!

i was just googling yesterday if anyone has died at the workplace due to static shocks. looks like i'm going to be the first...

cheers,
asuph

Served him just right...hee,hee! I get those static electricity short-circuits quite often myself. So many of my colleagues have got mild shocks from me a couple of times. Its quite funny. But I feel the impact could have been nicer if we got to see those small lightening-like streaks coming out of our parts when these shocks take place...no??

gaizabonts: Hardly but it helped to serve the purpose :)

upsilamba: I know and I wish we could unleash it whenever and on whoever we wanted to.

san: Thank you so much :)

tulan: Agree with whatever you are saying though not sure what it means.

stone: :)

anon: And I must tell you, I am extremely susceptible to all that you mention and more.

asuph: You can be the first if you beat me to it!

sanguine: Let this not put you off, from joining me :)

shub: Yes, he got it good and hope he remembers it.

swathi: Blamed blogger. Okay now tell me, where were you all this while? Why no blog, no news, no hear?

pratish: Hehehe! I know, he was cursing in my room. I pushed him my chair for added effect :)

sangita: He must be. You should have seen his face. It was a sight to die for!

sudipta: Wanna touch my arm?

illyria: Hey, how you doing? I miss the northern way sorely...

priyanka: Actually that's a great idea! I would then suffer it just for the effect.

sherriff: He's a darpok. YOU want my hand?

obviously that comments was meant to be funny but it was more ofa guys thing.

well u know X- men comic book stuff where all the heroes have some super powers due genetic mutation where the genes were mutated due to imbalance of particular stuff(which i dont know) and that reacted differently than it should and gave them some powers and in the comic or the series one of the guys has the power to control electricity.

that is why super power to you.

just being sarcastic i guess. watch too much of these super heroes thing i think.

Hehe...I did taekwondo for 3 yrs and well, for about a few months we had this horribly shy instructor who would refuse to touch a girl. Considering my previous instructor used to stomp on my kneecaps when I did the split, I had no reason to complain:)Have a super 2007
